10 Random Thoughts

1. In one word, what are your thoughts on the Eagles' performance so far season?
[Adonal] Brilliant. Just bloody brilliant.

2. What is more scarce in the NBA these days, a true center or a true point guard?
[Adonal] A good big man is very scarce and hard to find.

3. What are your thoughts on the Red Sox finally winning the World Series?
[Adonal] The Curse is broken. The Voodoo man has wiped it clean. I think that is awesome for Boston. I am so anti-Yankees. If anyone, other than the Yankees, win, I'll be happy. And the fact that Boston beat the Yankees to get to the World Series, I'm Ecstatic.

4. What did you do with your first NBA paycheck your rookie year?
[Adonal] I repaid all my debts back to my parents. They gave me a loan to help me set up my apartment. I didn't buy anything for myself until my second paycheck.

5. What is the most over-rated holiday we celebrate in the U.S.?
[Adonal] I never really understood Halloween. But kids get free candy. So, who's complaining?

6. What is the best new T.V. show to come out this fall?
[Adonal] Desperate Housewives. The women are H-O-T, hot!

7. With the high salaries pro athletes are getting these days, do you see early retirement being more of the norm than an exception in five years?
[Adonal] I don't think so. I think one of the problems for some players is that they don't plan their futures after basketball. They are very afraid to move on. So, you're still going to have some players hang on for dear life because they don't really make a lot changes and get themselves ready for a transition from basketball to a new career.

8. What are your thoughts on the concept of Fantasy Basketball' as well as Fantasy Football?'
[Adonal] I never understood it. People are yelling at me and I don't know why. They're telling me: You need to block more shots, you need to get more rebounds.' And I thought these were Warrior fans. Then, they go off and say You're on my Fantasy Basketball team.' Geez. I have one coach. That's bad enough. Imagine having 20,000 in the stands with fantasy basketball teams and demanding different things from you. It's an interesting craze. But I think it definitely gets people more involved. And it has gotten my attention when a skinny scrawny person is trying to tell me what I need to do for them.

9. What is the coolest thing about being Adonal Foyle?
[Adonal] Being able to have a kid look up to you and seeing how big their eyes get when you reach out to them. That's pretty cool.

10. What is the most challenging thing about being Adonal Foyle?
[Adonal] Trying to live a moral life is almost never easy. I try to be the best Adonal I can be everyday. I try to see if I can get 80-90 percent of my day right. If that is the case, I'm having a great day. But sometimes, when it falls to 45-50 percent and I'm having a crisis, I'm still trying to be good to the people and to the fans. That is something that is very hard.
